  • STANFORD, Calif. β€”The 16th-ranked Stanford softball team (38-17) will travel to Lafayette, for the Louisiana Regional, where it will take on the Baylor Bears (33-20) in its opening round game on Friday, May 18. Host Louisiana will face Mississippi Valley State in game two, Friday.

  • The UL Ragin' Cajuns women's basketball program will add two impact recruits to its roster within the next couple of days, as former St. Thomas More guards Ke'Alana "KeKe" Veal and Kia Wilridge are expected to be released from the national letter of intent they signed with the McNeese State Cowgirls during the early signing period.
